How do I choose between Roof
Tile Colour Coat or Silicone sealer? |
 |
The Colour Coat provides you
with an opportunity to totally change the colour of
your roof. However, if you prefer your current colour
scheme then a silicone sealer is applied to seal and
protect the surface and to help prevent water penetration.
|
|
| |
|
 |
Do silicone sealers damage the
roof & walls? |
 |
No, Absolutely Not. Silicone
Sealers are the Invisible Protector, they penetrate
right into the substrate to create their long lasting
bond and protection. Silicones are used in many water
repellent applications and are the base for water
repellent paints. Many building materials are factory
treated with silicones to make them more weatherproof.
In no way can silicones accelerate or promote deterioration
of building materials, in fact they are used to protect
ancient buildings structures and monuments in Rome,
Venice and Paris. |

people. |

 |
These tiles are out of production
now. If you break one what happens? |
 |
That rarely happens and we always
carry spares. |
|
| |
|
 |
How can I be sure that the company
has my type when it comes to my job? |
 |
We have never done a job yet
where we haven't had spare tiles.
On the bottom of our order books we write in your
tile type, and before the applicator goes to work
for the day they look up the jobs to be done and make
sure they have a few of each type when they come. |

 |
Is this a harmful chemical that
you use, a caustic agent? |
 |
No. The length of time that it
takes to clean will explain that it is obviously not
a harsh quick acting material. Apart from water-blasting,
anything that would clean it chemically in quick time,
could corrode your spouting, burn your paintwork or
kill your plants. It's for everybody's benefit that
we use this slow acting solution mix. Experience has
taught us that most people don't mind how long it
takes, as long as it's safe and as long as it works. |
|

|
 |
Are there any problems walking
on these roofs? |
 |
No, for skilled applicators,
the roof will be no problem to walk on. Our applicators
are thoroughly trained to identify the safe places
to walk for different roof types. Very few roofs are
so brittle as to cause problems. It would not be in
our joint interest to work on a roof that wasn't suitable.
We don't often come across one that we can't help. |
|
| |
|
 |
Do I need to be home when the
job is done? |
 |
No. Half of the jobs we do nobody
is home. Power is not a problem at all; the trucks
are self-contained. The applicator will leave the
guarantee card at the door or letterbox. |
