Proud Finalists in the 2026 RANZ Residential Roof of the Year Awards
At Edwards & Hardy Roofing, we believe great workmanship deserves to be celebrated — and we’re incredibly proud to have been recognised as a finalist in the Residential category of the 2026 RANZ Roof of the Year Awards.
Our Top Tier Construction project was shortlisted among this year’s entries by the Roofing Association of New Zealand (RANZ), recognising the craftsmanship, technical expertise and attention to detail that went into the project.
While we didn’t take home the category award, being selected as a finalist is an achievement our entire team is proud of.
A Project That Put Our Expertise to Work
The Top Tier Construction project was a complex re-cladding and roof replacement that involved replacing the original Butynol roof, which had reached the end of its serviceable life, with a more durable roofing system.
Following the re-pitching of the roof by Top Tier Construction, our Edwards & Hardy team took on the roofing installation.
Several elements needed to integrate seamlessly, requiring close collaboration, onsite discussion, and practical problem-solving throughout the work.

Being shortlisted as a finalist is therefore more than a result for one project. For us, it’s recognition of the skill and dedication our roofers bring to their work every day.
Complex roofing projects require more than the right materials. They require experience, attention to detail, teamwork, and the ability to find practical solutions when challenges arise.
The Top Tier Construction project was a great example of those qualities in action.
Although this time we didn’t come away with the award, we’re delighted to have stood alongside some of New Zealand’s best in the roofing industry.
